Despite all the snow, Canadians are getting ready to bring the heat! The 25^th Winter Olympic Games begin on February 6. The Winter Paralympic Games open one month later.

The Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo are hosting this year’s Games.

This will be Milan’s first Olympics. The city bid to host the Games twice before but was not selected.

Milano Cortina 2026 marks the fourth Games for Italy. Cortina d’Ampezzo last hosted the Winter Olympics in 1956. Turin hosted in 2006, and Rome in 1960.
